Eligibility

The application and enrollment process differs slightly depending on how you are using the NDS program. Specific guidance for current high school students, senior residents of North Carolina, UNC System employees and students seeking a certificate are outlined below. Deadlines

The NDS program at NC State admits students on a year-round basis, making it convenient for students to start their journey when it’s the right time for them.

Applicants are notified of admission decisions on a rolling basis. Applications take between two to five business days to process in our system, which cannot be expedited under any circumstances. For students who require a background check, this may delay processing by two to three weeks.
